Pillbugs and Sowbug Control

These ½ "long, grey, armored creatures look like miniature armadillos. They also go by the local names "rolly polly" and "woodlouse". They are not actually insects, but fall into the class Crustacean. Yes, the same class as crabs, shrimp, and lobsters! They feed on decaying vegetable matter and are usually found in areas with high moisture, such as basements and crawl spaces. Reducing moisture and food sources around the foundation, along with careful and targeted applications, will help reduce populations.
